WATER-CUTTING

Thanks to technological progress, we are able to operate faster and more efficiently. We have been able to carry out processes that previously required large financial outlays and the efforts of many specialists. At Elplast, we offer you reliable and quick cutting using the waterjet technique.

FAST CUT WITH WATER JET

The waterjet machine consists of two parts: a high-pressure pump and a special cutting head through which the water stream is directed to the selected place. By using this technology, we are able to cut virtually any shape in any material. For cutting hard surfaces, the water stream is additionally mixed with a garnet (a special mineral) which enhances the strength of the entire device. Thanks to the use of waterjet technology, we are able to cut very thick materials. Even granite or steel cannot resist the water blade.

COOL AND WITHOUT FIXING

The undoubted advantage of waterjet is high precision. Thanks to the use of water, the temperature during operation does not exceed several dozen degrees. There is, therefore, no risk of burning or melting reactions. Therefore, waterjet technology can be used to cut flammable materials as well as very delicate ones. The water blade can easily be cut in both stone and plastics. The technology of cutting with water allows, for example, plate shapes to be cut out in a glass – something which would not be so easily obtained using other methods.

When cutting with the waterjet machine, we don't have to worry about deformation or discolouration. This is of great importance when cutting tool or hardened steel. The water blade is not afraid of almost any surface. After cutting, we get a smooth edge that does not require further processing. What is important is that by using waterjet technology, we can cut materials of up to 20 cm thick much more precisely than when using a laser.

WATER-CUTTING – FOR WHOM?

The waterjet method, due to its universality, is used in many industries. It can be used in the construction, automotive, fashion and furniture industries. Due to the simple process of preparing materials for cutting, the use of waterjet technology is also associated with high speed of order processing. At Elplast, we focus on precision and the exemplary performance of even the smallest details. We invite you to familiarise yourself with what we have to offer.
